NO SURRENDER CANCER CHARITY QUIZ RAISES £30K

Credit crunch? What credit crunch! As The No Surrender Charitable Trust's annual quiz held 8th March at Allum Hall, Elstree generated an amazing £30,000.

The quiz and auction held on behalf of the charity set up by Jason Boas, who sadly passed away in November 2008 of pancreatic cancer, proved to be a great night.

With over 400 people in attendance, the quiz was paired with a silent auction with items including signed football shirts donated by the entire squad of Arsenal and Chelsea along with a trip for 2 to the Tottenham Hotspur training ground.

The No Surrender Charitable Trust which has set up a global social network for cancer sufferers also announced that it will be researching pancreatic cancer with University College Hospital London through a Fellowship in Jason's name.

Andrew Boas, Jason's brother commented on the evening, "It's so important to raise money and be able to support so many people with cancer through no surrender, and this year's quiz was a fantastic success. What Jason has started is incredible, and I know he would have been delighted with the overwhelming support and direction of the charity. However heartbreaking this situation is for my family, I'm honored to say he was my brother, and that I can be a part of No Surrender."

No Surrender thanks all those that attended for their continuing support.
